I am partnering with CONSPIRE to host my sale at their shop in Greencastle. This should be a great venue, and I hope it makes it more convenient for you to come see the pots.
Instead of the usual Saturday/Sunday on one weekend, this sale will be on two consecutive Saturdays, May 13 & 20 from 9am-5pm.
Plus, all the pots will on display and available to buy during the week in between: May 16-19, Tuesday-Friday 11am-7pm. (These are CONSPIRE's regular hours. Note that the shop is closed Sunday May 14 & Monday May 15.)
Long-time diehards may notice that this is also one week later than usual. This will overlap with the Farmer's Market both Saturdays, and puts the second Saturday on DePauw's graduation weekend. (And it gives me one more week to prepare!) Also, note that I'll open an hour earlier than usual: 9am instead of 10am.
The showroom is also open year-round by appointment. There is always a good inventory of pots available. Please contact me to arrange a time to visit.
I don't currently sell pots online, because I'm aiming at a local market and I prefer to sell them in person. But if you know what you're looking for, I can send you photos of what I currently have in the showroom. Please contact me and we'll see what we can do.
Studio Sales History
Starting in December 2000, I've had two sales each year, one each in early May and December. As of 2015, that's 30 of these events. So over the last decade and a half, I've sent literally thousands of pots out into the world -- mostly to local customers -- direct from the showroom.
For each sale, I design a postcard, which is sent to my mailing list a week or so in advance. There's also an email list -- you can sign up for either (or both) on the Contact page.
I have anywhere from 150-450 pots available for sale, with the average usually around 300. This always includes the latest pots from the kiln, as I usually do firings right up to the deadline. They span a wide range of forms, styles and glazes.
We set out a variety of drinks and snacks, and encourage people to stay to chat and hang out as long as possible -- it's fun to have it be a social event as well as a retail one. Each sale is open to the public, and all are invited.
